30 years of experience goes into every restoration, and examples of original guns are used as a reference and guideline for finishing and polishing.
The current price for a blue and case-color restoration, minus extra parts or other services, is $2400 standard frame, 2600 Bisley frame. Add $300 for antique nickel finish. Your parts are always considered for trade in the final cost of any project. This is a one -man shop, and the full restoration backlog is currently near 0, so a good time to schedule. Other smaller jobs 30 to 60 days or less.. Currently accepting full restoration work on limited basis. Second Gen hammer notches will not be repaired as of 11-2022.

ALL SA PARTS ARE CURRENTLY VERY SCARCE. WE WILL NOT SELL OUTRIGHT ANY PART UNLESS IT IS BEING USED IN A RESTORATION OR REPAIR PROJECT AT OUR SHOP.
Colt actions are rebuilt using genuine parts or perfect counterparts. We prefer originals, as the parts are higher quality. We don't work on Italian clones, have no parts for them. Your action can be "slicked up" to be smooth and crisp, WITHOUT using piano wire springs or grinding the heck out of the internal parts. My policy is to use only factory weight springs. Their attachment screws can be used to adjust tension, and you will be surprised how nice the actions feel. My goal it to build an action that is safe and reliable. If you want a "race" action, there are many individuals who will accommodate you throughout the country AND ACCEPT THE ASSOCIATED RISK OF CATOSTROPHIC CYLINDER and FRAME FAILURE, OR BLOW UPS!

Please send only parts that have been finished off to remove any surface hardening. DO NOT SEND PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN WELDED OVER FOR STAMPING UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN ANNEALED FIRST! If a weld is rolled over or struck without annealing, it usually damages the die. You will be charged for the replacement of the die if this happens! $1000 PLUS!!!

Another early gem, shipped to J.P. Lower in 1880, one of a group of rejected US guns that were sold civilian. Completely restored.
When you look at the enlargements, note the consistent polish and sharp edges that are just like the original Colts.
1883 nickel 44-40 etched panel completely restored with new barrel, cylinder and grips.
Eight shots of a strap repair, new cylinder too, final three show the frame case colored.
